Existing on this planet is a privilege. Yet, we as humans consistently see it as a right. We build bigger properties and encroach on more land every day, thinking it’s our birthright. To many people, this is the only way to enjoy life. To others, life is entwined with nature. They have worked to find what is most mutually beneficial and thrive alongside the planet. But the rest of us have yet to follow.
It is painful to witness the destruction of nature caused by human greed. It seems like the more convenient we make our lives, the more pollution we create, and the more carelessly we deplete the earth’s resources. We should be making peace with mother earth instead of relentlessly devouring all she gives. Truly, a peaceful life must be from embracing mother nature and being grateful for all she provides.
